A Hamptons-style house in Sydney’s eastern suburbs.
Who lives here
Publicist, author and entrepreneur Roxy Jacenko, husband Oliver Curtis, and their children Pixie,
8,and Hunter,5.
What we did
What was meant to be a small renovation of the kitchen and bathrooms turned into a redo of the whole house. “Once Oli got started, there ended up being no room left the same!” says Roxy.
“At the time I thought he was mad but we truly have created our dream home now, complete with cinema, gym and make-up room.”
Favourite room
“I truly love the whole house, but if I had to choose one,I would have to say my make-up room. Everything in there represents years of blood, sweat and tears.”
The ’hood
“It’s peaceful, quiet and family-friendly,exactly what we like to come home to after a busy day.”
Future plans
“I don’t think Oli left a stone unturned!”
Best advice
“Stick to a budget and always employ people you trust to manage the project!”
