“Actions have consequences,” wrote Elle.“Don’t expect loyalty from someone who cannot give you honesty.” She continued:“12 months ago I was betrayed by someone very close to me. Someone I considered family. They lied to me. They stole from me and worse they actually broke my heart. I have kept this betrayal close to me as I thought this person would do the right thing. They have not done this.”
As followers speculated Tash was the friend in question,Elle posted:“You are correct, for everyone asking”.
But late on Friday evening,Elle returned to Instagram to deny the allegations of betrayal referred to her former bestie of ten years. “Recently on Instagram,I posted some comments which some people erroneously thought were directed at Tash Sefton. Tash and I have enjoyed a long and fruitful friendship and business association, and my comments were not about her."
Elle added:"I can now understand why some people may have thought my comments were about Tash, and that Tash has been caused substantial distress and hurt. I regret posting my comments and sincerely apologise to Tash for the distress and hurt she has suffered."In a legal letter sent to Emerald City Tash vehemently denied that she had engaged in the conduct described in the posts. While it's unknown who Elle was directing the original posts at Emerald City is waiting with bated breath to see what transpires next.
