The deadly shooting at Florida State University was dreadful reminder for several students who were also at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School for the 2018 massacre.
Two people were killed and at least six others injured in an incident that sent terrified students and parents running for cover.
The 20-year-old allegedly opened fire with his mother’s former service weapon,killing two people and wounding at least six others.
One mourner said he was disappointed that the police were slow to establish a motive and believed the attack may have been “politically motivated.”
The gunman is believed to be among those killed and a search is continuing at the school for other possible victims,the local police chief said.
The school,called Campus Risbergska,serves students over age 20.

The shooter,identified by police as Natalie Rupnow,was a student at the Abundant Life Christian School.
Police have identified the shooter as a 15-year-old. The active shooting was reported to police by a grade 2 student.
