Wildlife tourism continues to evolve in diversity and quality.

A study by international market research company Future Data Stats valued the global wildlife tourism market at $US166.30 billion ($253 billion) in 2023,projecting it to expand by more than eight per cent a year between now and 2030.

“Wildlife tourism has emerged as a captivating and sustainable niche within the broader travel industry, drawing nature enthusiasts and adventure seekers alike,” Future Data Stats reports.

“The market has witnessed a notable surge in recent years, reflecting a growing global interest in experiencing the beauty and diversity of the natural world. This trend is not merely a passing fad but rather a manifestation of the increasing awareness and appreciation for wildlife conservation efforts.”

Another manifestation of that is the success of G Adventures’ Jane Goodall Collection suite of itineraries.
