Estranged Aitkens play nice for Amalfi Coast family reunion

Rumours of a reconciliation between Sydney fund managerCharlie Aitken and his wifeEllie have gone into overdrive after photos of the former couple playing happy family on a European vacation emerged.

However, those closest to the pair say a reunion isn’t on the cards anytime soon with the former couple focusing their efforts on keeping their family unit intact.

“They are both devoted to their kids, and Charlie joined Ellie and the kids for a family reunion in Italy,” a friend told Emerald City. “Together but not together.”

Emerald City was told the pair have just wrapped up an Amalfi Coast trip aboard a superyacht with their two children and Ellie’s extended family.

“They have been in each other’s lives for over 20 years and what’s most important to them is coming together for their kids, and to Ellie’s credit, they’ve done that from the beginning always attending school and sporting events together,” the friend said.

Last week,Ellie shared images alongside husband Charlie and the couple’s children,as well as New Zealand-based grandmotherCelia, celebrating their son’s ninth birthday aboard the luxury Sunseeker Aroha.

Meanwhile, back in Sydney,Charlie’s ex-loverHollie Nasser is in social Siberia and far from reconciling with her estranged husbandChris “CJ” Nasser. After the court dismissed her application for an apprehended violence order against Nasser in February, any hope of a reconciliation seems long gone.

At the time, police took the drastic step of withdrawing an application for a domestic violence order after receiving written representations from Chris on the grounds the claims were baseless.

The foursome were the talk of the town in 2021 after Hollie found herself caught up in the marriage breakdown of Charlie and Ellie – Hollie’s former best friend. The Aitkens separated in November, with Charlie issuing a public statement the couple had split and he was dating Hollie. Emerald City understands Charlie and Hollie are no longer in contact.

Roxy’s music goes global

CouldRoxy Jacenko’s latest career reinvention be a move into the music industry? It certainly seems that way.

After starting as global publicity manager for homegrown talentCharlton Howard AKA the Kid Laroi,Jacenko’s appearance at a Sony Music party on Thursday set tongues wagging she may have signed Canadian pop starTate McRae to her publicity portfolio. The pair seemed familiar with one another while smiling for the camera.

Being sighted alongside American talent manager and record executive Scooter Braun earlier this year had initially sparked rumours she’s set her sights on the music industry.

Perhaps Jacenko has taken cues from mumDoreen Davis’ partnerChris Moss, who was managing director of Warner Music Australia until 2005.

While remaining tight-lipped on her relationship with McCrae,Jacenko spilled that working with Laroi was a “pinch me” moment in her long and illustrious career.

“When opportunity presented itself to support the Kid Laroi team during the Australian leg of his EOTW[End Of The World] Tour it was one of those career ‘pinch me’ moments.

“Not only is he one of our most incredible and successful new global talents with over 2 billion streams forSTAY with Justin Bieber alone, his desire to give back is incredibly admirable for someone of his age (18) – being present when he donated the $100,000 cheque to the Fact Tree in Redfern where he spent time through his childhood was incredibly moving.

“Now to have the ability to support the artist and the team from a global PR/business perspective on an ongoing basis is wonderful. I mean who wouldn’t want the opportunity to work alongside the master,Scooter Braun, and our hottest export?”

While many thought the doors to her Sweaty Betty publicity house were closed amid the pandemic,Jacenko spent that time restrategising and reinventing herself. Recently she’s branched out as an entrepreneur with her XRJCelebrations candle range,Roxy Jacenko Accessories and managed her daughter’s successful bow and toy business.
