The pair are understood to have been low-key dating for some time, with one acquaintance suggesting the pair met on Instagram.

They have certainly not been shy on the social media platform – there’s been a steady stream of back and forth flirty comments on his Instagram photos from Amy as well as her business page Acero, the gym which she co-owns with ex-husband Jono.

Evans, who hails from Canberra, has been based in Asia for the last nine years where he plays professional soccer. After spending the past few months in Sydney,he left several days ago telling his 92,000 Instagram followers he will announce the latest team he has signed with in the coming days.

Emerald City is told the pair slipped away early, perhaps to take in the ocean views offered by some of the rooms?

But while the Castanos are dating new partners, the former couple continue to share custody of their thriving gym, training a who’s who of Sydney scenesters, sportsmen and celebrities including ex-cricketerMichael Clarke, former Real Housewife of SydneyKrissy Marsh and Merivale culinary directorDan Hong.
