The oldest thing in your wardrobe?
A vintage dress I bought in Argentina many years ago. It’s a white lace piece from the 1920s,perfect for throwing over a bikini.
What’s your latest addition?
A little beaded anklet.
What would you wear...
...on a first date? Something not too sexy. You want to look gorgeous,but you want to be comfortable as well.
...on a plane? I wear The Upside’s Recovery soft suiting – it’s like luxe track suiting – with a nice blazer and a good pair of trainers.
...to the Oscars? Valentino.
Favourite fashion decade?
The ’60s. I love the idea of being on the Left Bank of Paris or in New York … Hanging out with the beatniks,Jack Kerouac,Leonard Cohen – he had incredible style.
Do you have a favourite designer?
I’ve always loved Chloé;the new creative director,Natacha Ramsay-Levi,is incredible. I also love Zimmermann. Those girls have done an amazing job.
Favourite fragrance?
Tom Ford Patchouli Absolu.
What would you buy if money was no object?
Probably vintage jewellery,such as a Cartier piece from the 1920s.
What are three essential items in your wardrobe?
A good pair of trainers – I’ve got a white Valentino pair that I’m in love with at the moment;they work with everything. I can’t live without a pair of yoga leggings from The Upside. And a good pair of sunnies.
What’s your worst fashion mistake?
When I was 14,I ordered a pair of men’s boxing boots that were white with red trim and came up to mid-calf. They took about six weeks to arrive and I thought they were amazing. I wore them every day to high school.
Can you remember a favourite outfit you had as a child?
When I was five,I had a little Hungarian embroidered smock dress that I used to wear with
red leather shoes.
Is there something you would never wear?
Fur.
Is there a current trend you like?
I obviously love the whole sports luxe movement,but that’s been here for a while and I think it’s here to stay. Currently,I’m loving this cowboy thing that’s coming back. I’ve always been partial to a cowboy boot.
What shoes do you wear most often?
Sneakers and sandals. I just bought a cute pair of sandals in Los Angeles;they’re like a little piece of nothing,almost like being barefoot. And with my anklet obsession at the moment,they’re perfect.
Do you have a favourite fashion icon?
Jade Jagger and Kate Moss,of course.
What was your first fashion moment?
In year 7,wearing a pair of cropped denim jeans,pink kitten heels – I was 12 – and a fluffy backless sweater. I thought I was pretty awesome.
Favourite casual Sunday look?
I’m usually going to yoga and hanging out in the park with my dogs,so I like to wear something from The Upside’s Recovery range,and a yoga leg. If I’ve got a lunch planned,I might pop a blazer over something;I’m pretty relaxed these days.
