Rogan's podcast is downloaded millions of times each month and is routinely featured among the top podcasts on Apple's charts.
He has interviewed well-known politicians and businessmen on the show, including Elon Musk and U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders.
"We will still have clips up on YouTube but full versions of the show will only be on Spotify,"Rogan said in an Instagram post on Wednesday morning.
Rogan maintained that he will still have full creative control over the show, which has amassed over 8.4 million subscribers on it's YouTube channel since it's launch in 2009.
He also added that the corresponding video episodes of the podcast will also be available on Spotify as in-app vodcasts.
Rogan has denied requests from his fans to put the podcast on Spotify over several years, addressing the issue directly with Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler in an episode in 2018.
