In August,Ms Armytage said her mother had been"gravely ill"with an autoimmune disease,which resulted in heart failure. Her mother was in hospital but gradually stabilised.

At the time,Ms Amrytage's father had been going to visit his wife when he had a stroke.

"Luckily he wasn’t out the back of Wagga in a paddock as he probably wouldn’t be here to tell the tale,"Ms Armytage said in a post at the time.

"He's a tough old buggar and he's in rehab,frustrated but determined. And giving plenty of cheek to his long- suffering,wonderful nurses."

"To anyone out there with loved ones in the hospital right now or anyone out there near your parents right now,give them a hug for me,"she added.
