Giuffre’s home base in Perth could become a key debating point in pre-trial hearings in the new year, afterAndrew’s lawyers lodged a finding that her Australian address would remove the court’s jurisdiction over the case. He asked US District Judge Lewis Kaplan to force Giuffre to answer questions about her residency under oath.
In Tuesday’s filing hearing, his lawyers said recently discovered evidence showed that Giuffre has lived in Australia for all but two of the last 19 years, despite claiming in her suit that she was a resident of Colorado. Giuffre bought a $1.9 million Perth home in December 2020.
In the interview withThe Cut,which did not address this issue,Giuffre said the Epstein fallout was not over with Maxwell’s conviction of five counts of sex trafficking in a Manhattan court on Thursday (AEDT).
