The truck,owned by a tree lopping contractor with a chipper trailer on the back appeared to have lost control,Fire and Rescue NSW Superintendent Adam Dewberry said.
The truck went down a steep hill at Weerona Place where it crashed through the front of an unoccupied home that was undergoing renovations,he said.

A man and a woman were trapped in the front of the truck until firefighters,who had to force entry into the home,managed to free them.
The pair appeared to have suffered no serious injuries but were treated by paramedics before being taken to hospital as a precaution,Dewberry said.

The home’s structural integrity was compromised by the crash and the truck is now holding up the roof,Dewberry said. Specialist contractors will now take over the scene and police have declared the area a “danger zone”.
NSW Police received a call from the neighbours of the waterfront property about 7.25am and both occupants were out of the truck 30 minutes later,a spokeswoman said.
