Man found critically injured in Killara dies in hospital

A man who died after being found with a critical head injury on the roadway in Killara on Wednesday morning is believed to have suffered a medical episode.

A truck driver on Fiddens Wharf Road came across the man aged in his forties about 4.30am,giving him first aid until police and paramedics arrived to take him to hospital.

The man was taken to Royal North Shore Hospital in a critical condition,where he died.

Doctors have told police he likely suffered a medical episode that precipitated his fall.
