Police release CCTV,seek information on alleged sexual assault in Manly unit

Police are appealing for assistance from the public as they investigate an alleged sexual assault in Sydney’s northern beaches earlier this year.

Detectives launched an investigation after receiving reports a woman was sexually assaulted at a unit on Manly Corso on Sunday,January 16.

On Tuesday,detectives released CCTV images of two men they believe can assist them with their inquiries.

In the video,time-stamped 2.19am,two young men can be seen hugging and talking animatedly as they wait for a takeaway meal.

In a statement,police described one of the men as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance,about 170 centimetres tall,of slim build with dark brown curly hair and a moustache. He is seen in a dark button-up shirt and blue jeans with white sneakers.

The other man is described as being of Caucasian appearance,about 165 centimetres tall,of slim build with brown hair. He is depicted wearing a grey/blue T-shirt with black jeans and white sneakers.

Both men are believed to be aged between 20 and 25.
