The man was granted conditional bail and is due to face Gosford Local Court on July 19.

In another incident,a woman died when the tow truck she was a passenger in crashed in the Snowy Mountains.
She died on the Snowy Mountains Highway at Kiandra,south-east of Talbingo,when the tow truck left the road and slid down an embankment about 7.30pm.
The truck had been towing a ute.
Police said there were four people in the truck at the time of the crash. Police and paramedics found the male driver,aged 54,trapped in the truck cabin. He was taken to Canberra Hospital in a serious condition. A woman in the front passenger seat of the tow truck was killed.
The owner of the ute,a 29-year-old woman,and her young son – who were travelling in the back seat of the truck – escaped with minor injuries and were taken to Cooma Hospital.
The state’s road toll has risen from a near 100-year low of 275 in 2021 to 288 people in 2022,and in the past 12 months is now 319.
