Girl missing since before Christmas,police issue appeal

Police are searching for a girl who has been missing since before Christmas and have called on the public for help.

The 15-year-old Calamvale girl went missing from a Lewis Street address on December 18 last year.

Police say they hold serious concerns for the girl’s welfare because of her age.

She is described as Caucasian,160 centimetres tall,slim,with short brown hair and blonde steaks,brown eyes and an olive complexion.

She was last seen wearing ripped black jeans,a black top,a green camouflage/black hoodie and white TN sneakers.

The alert for public assistance comes as police also call for information regardingmissing Australian aerial skier Brittany George,who has been missing since Friday.

As of Wednesday,the winter Olympian was still missing.

Her family were on Tuesday searching areas in north Brisbane for Ms George,with police adding that the disappearance was out of character.

Police are also still searching for Joshua Mou,22,who was last seen in the Sunnybank area in Brisbane’s south on January 11 in Terowi Street.

He has not been in contact with anyone since,and the disappearance is considered out of character.

Police have urged anyone with information regarding the disappearances to come forward.
