The 34-year-old woman was found with serious head injuries on Monday at a home in the Broome beachside suburb of Cable Beach.
She was given medical treatment at the scene but died from her injuries,police said in a statement on Wednesday.
A 30-year-old man known to her has been charged with murder.
He is scheduled to appear in Broome Magistrates Court on Thursday.
