Aged in her 30s,WA Police said the woman was located at Cable Beach around 6pm.
She was found with serious head injuries and rushed to hospital where she later died.
Broome Detectives and Homicide Squad officers are investigating the incident.
A man in his 30s is assisting police with inquiries.
