Keddie, whose seriesThe Cry airs on ABC TV next month, said she was feeling fresh after a four-week family holiday with her husband, artist Vincent Fantauzzo, and their two sons.
But there was some work amid the play, she said."I had to start negotiating a deal over the break, which was a surprise but a welcome surprise.
"I said,'Ugh I wasn't going to[work on holidays],'but it's a great start to the year,"said Keddie, who would only reveal the discussions were for an upcoming miniseries.
It will be a big year for Fantauzzo, too, who is soon to have a hotel opened in Brisbane in his name."I think we can stay there whenever we want,"Keddie, wearing a checked Scanlan Theodore suit, said.
Judd, who was hosting the marquee for her active wear brand,Jaggad, said her J'Aton mini-dress was whipped up in an hour by her go-to red carpet designers.
"They said,'You might hate it,'but I put it on and I said[approvingly],'We're done,'"she said.
Judd, who hosts afternoon radio on KIIS FM,was backing up on Sunday with a family ski holiday to Canada with 32 close friends, the mother of four assuming the role of head organiser.
"I just say,'Guys, this is what we're doing'... I like to be in control because then it gets done[right],"she said."I want to make it as easy and a great experience for everyone."
Strong fashion trends at the event included matching printed two-piece outfits, pink shorts on men and a lot of linen, especially button-through tops and dresses.
