A royal commission is a good idea,but only if the government commits to implementing the recommendations. This needs to be a whole of community approach,not just whole of government.
There is a growing chorus of voices for a royal commission into domestic violence in NSW,but there are also pleas for more funding.
On this issue,it is obvious not enough is being done. The Herald and other major media outlets have a responsibility to push our political leaders for desperately needed change.
