ActorLincoln Younes – who plays the formidable nightclub owner – was pictured filming scenes for the new series in western Sydney alongside actorCallan Mulvey.

However,Emerald City is told that filming taking place at Western Sydney University on Tuesday was interrupted by a police helicopter hovering over nearby Rookwood cemetery where slain gangsterRami Iskander was laid to rest.

Iskander,23,was shot dead outside his Belmore home last Saturday while his family was inside, just 17 days after his uncleMahmoud ‘Brownie’ Ahmad was killed in Greenacre in a similar attack.

The previous week sawTarek Zahed,41,and his brotherOmar Zahed,39,struck down by a hail of bullets after leaving the Bodyfit gym in Auburn. Omar died at the scene after going into cardiac arrest, while Tarek miraculously survived despite sustaining 10 gunshot wounds and may face amputation to his arm and leg.

Days ahead of the attack,Emerald City is told the pair were spied getting a lap dance at a Kings Cross nightclub.

Last week the widowed hairdresser moved out of the Dover Heights home in front of cameras and journalist Michael Usher for a 7News Spotlight special, his second interview with the network since his wife went missing in November 2020.

A Seven spokesperson shut down claims Koletti was paid for his interview – despite a rumoured $50,000 for his first exclusive last October – explaining he has a unique relationship with the network’s executive producer.

“Anthony is a friend of the show[7News Spotlight] and does hair for the EP[executive producer] Mark Llewellyn’s wife,” the spokesperson told Emerald City last week.

“Mark has cooked Anthony numerous chicken dinners at his home when Anthony has finished doing his wife’s hair,so it is a natural fit he tells his story with Seven,” the spokesperson added.

However,Emerald City understands Koletti’s latest exclusive may have been shopped around to a number of media outlets by publicistMelissa Seymour in exchange for a fee.

It’s no secret that Koletti is short of a penny or two. In December,he told the court he had only $1.95 in his bank account.

Since vacating his clifftop mansion,Koletti is understood to have found accommodation at a two-bedroom property in nearby Bondi. Rent in the eastern suburbs isn’t cheap – and neither is legal representation.

A source close to Koletti has informed Emerald City that his lawyerJudy Swan is working on behalf of her client pro bono in exchange for his hair expertise.

However,Swan has toldThe Sun-Heraldthat she denies that these are the terms of her retainer with her client, and says that such matters are privileged.
