The 34-year-old megastar has been lying low at her accommodation, thought to be Crown Sydney’s,since arriving in Sydney on Monday after completing her record-breaking three nights in Melbourne.
But on Tuesday night the singer-songwriter was seen eating out at Surry Hills Italian eatery Pellegrino 2000 with Sabrina Carpenter, her support act on the Eras Tour.
Swift and Carpenter were filmed being ushered out of the restaurant on the corner of Campbell and Foster streets by private security as dozens of screaming fans cheered.
Despite a brief pause in Sydney’s,the singer did not stop to engage with fans, but as she departed the restaurant in a black Range Rover four-wheel-drive,Swifties began chanting her name,“Taylor,Taylor”.
Pellegrino 2000 scored an impressive 15.5 out of 20 when back in March 2022,and it was offered byGood Food writers of where Swift could and should eat while in town.
Swift’s schedule over the next few days is a tightly guarded secret, but anticipation is growing that fans could witness a potential rendezvous between the pop star and her boyfriend,NFL player Travis Kelce.
Kelce hinted at travel plans on his podcast last week, and on Tuesday Swift’s rented private jet departed for Honolulu, sparking rumours that it had been sent to pick him up and fly him to Sydney by the weekend.
Kelce’s father Ed on Tuesday:“I asked him,are you going to take off for Sydney, and he seemed keen ... He said he’d really like to see Sydney and Singapore,” where the Eras Tour is headed after Sydney for another six shows.
The lucky fans who have secured tickets to the Eras Tour will be the only ones guaranteed to get another glimpse of their idol when she performs at Accor Stadium on Friday,Saturday,Sunday and Monday nights.
There were initial concerns about Sydney’s ongoing saga with, but the stadium and the surrounding areas were cleared after extensive testing. “All of our tests at Olympic Park are negative, and I can say with certainty that the Harbour City is ready to welcome Taylor Swift with open arms,” NSW Environment Protection Authority chief executive Tony Chappel said on Sunday.
