How would you describe your style?
Classic and minimal,with a modern twist. And effortless – I don’t have time to put in much effort since having my daughter,Sakura Peach,18 months ago.
What are the three essential items in your wardrobe?
I’ll wear a two-piece suit to meetings or brunch,or pair the trousers with a T-shirt. I love Toteme’s suits and have them in black,charcoal,navy pinstripe and lemon yellow. A pair of high-waisted jeans – Slvrlke,vintage Levi’s or Wardrobe.NYC x Levi’s. And a Scanlan Theodore classic white shirt.
What’s the oldest thing in your wardrobe?
A pair of Miu Miu platform heels that I bought about 12 years ago. They were the first luxury item I invested in – I saved for months. I don’t wear them any more,but I’m keeping them for my daughter.
And the most recent addition?
A canvas tote bag that I designed for the charity I work with,Adopt Change,which helps children in foster care.
What would you wear …
… on a first date? Something laid-back,like a silk satin slip dress and sandals. It’s about letting your personality shine through.
… on a plane? Tracksuit pants,a white tee and a bomber jacket with white Common Projects sneakers and a big carry-on tote bag that has everything I could possibly need in it:laptop,scarf,hand sanitiser,silk eye mask …
… on the red carpet? Valentino haute couture;anything by Pierpaolo Piccioli would be a dream.
Who are your favourite designers?
Dion Lee,who did my bridesmaids’ dresses,Viktoria&Woods – and I love what Anna Quan is doing.
What’s your favourite fashion era? I draw a lot of inspiration from the ’90s,the two-piece suit slightly oversized,undone hair,the little black dress.
What’s your fragrance of choice?
Organic peppermint oil. It’s soothing.

Go-to jewellery?
A gold Tiffany&Co. “HardWare” necklace;it goes with everything and elevates a simple outfit.
Can you remember a favourite outfit from when you were a child?
My love for fashion started young! I didn’t have a favourite piece because I was constantly changing my clothes. My parents would try and keep me in one look but I’d change my outfit three or four times a day.
And your worst fashion mistake?
In my first year of high school I dyed a fluoro red streak in my hair. I still cannot look at photos from that era.
What was your first fashion moment?
When I was 20,I interned at Grazia and there was this big shoot with10 Magazine from the UK,model Emma Balfour and creative Sophia Neophitou-Apostolou. I just fell in love with the whole process. It ignited my love for the fashion industry.
What’s at the top of your wish list?
A beautiful Tod’s cross-body bag with a big gold buckle on it.
Is there something you would never wear?
A high-cut bikini. I’ve tried,but it’s not something I can pull off. I feel so old now when I go to the beach and see what the young girls are wearing.
What shoes do you wear most often?
Sandals. I love Ancient Greek Sandals – they’re made so beautifully. And The Row’s platform sandals are an investment for summer.
What do you wear to bed?
Olivia Von Halle silk pyjamas.
Is there a current trend you like?
The Row’s Autumn 2021 collection catapulted a lot of trends. I love how they styled a turtleneck under a shirt with trousers and a gold belt. And a white T-shirt with an unbuttoned white shirt over the top. These are pieces we all own,but with a fresh take.
Who are your favourite fashion icons?
Lauren Hutton and Jane Birkin,that classic ’60s style – refined,timeless.
What’s your favourite off-duty,casual Sunday look?
A white linen shirt with matching shorts – anything I don’t have to iron!
