In July last year,Ms Keneally said she was speaking for many Labor Party MPs – who were afraid to speak their mind about Mr Rudd because they were still in Parliament – when she called him a"psychopathic narcissist."
"That's not just my opinion, that's the opinion of a whole range of people who are currently sitting in the Parliament,"she said.
Further, she nominated her dog as one of 12 Australians she believed would be a better UN Secretary General than the former prime minister:"One of them is my labrador;so let's be blunt here, she has a lot more empathy than Kevin Rudd."
When reminded of these comments,Mr Rudd said it was in the past.
