Fiona Cunningham,Tracy Davis and James Mackay were named for the wards of Coorparoo,McDowall and Walter Taylor respectively.
As the changes come within the 12 months to the council election,no by-elections were required.
“These are unelected people appointed by the LNP and I think the public would be disappointed they didn’t get a chance to have a say,” Mr Harding said.
“I think they would have hoped the councillors they elected would have stayed the whole term.”
Ms Davis,a former state MP,was also the Communities,Child Safety and Disability Services Minister in the Campbell Newman-led LNP state government.
Greenslopes resident Fiona Cunningham is a former journalist who has worked in the public sector and marketing,including a stint in the council as a policy liaison officer during the Newman council administration.
James Mackay is a small business owner and former Army Reservist,who unsuccessfully ran for the then-Liberal Party in the state seat of Mt Coot-tha in 2006.
