Mr Perrottet,a lawyer before entering politics,already has five girls and one boy with his wife.
Asked how he would juggle his work and family responsibilities after becoming Premier earlier this month,Mr Perrottet acknowledged it would be demanding and said the balance was a struggle for every working parent.
“Ultimately,what I might lose in time,I gain in perspective,” he said.
“I have a strong family and I have a strong ministerial team who will ensure that our focus is on the people of NSW. Yes,I have family commitments,but that should not disqualify one from the job.”
