The three-bedroom house,set on deep water frontage with a private jetty,was sold off market by Atlas’s Michael Coombs on behalf of Gerard and Jan Webb,who purchased it in 2001 for $3.358 million.
While records show this is Teoh’s first residential purchase in his name,he shares a long list of corporate interests with his brothers,who own commercial,industrial and business real estate from Chatswood to Macquarie Park totalling more than $300 million.
The Teoh family seem to have taken more interest in Sydney’s high-end housing market since Teoh snr stepped down as chairman of TPG Telecom last year. Company interests controlled by David and Vicky Teoh set a Chatswood suburb high last yearwhen they bought the Hiawatha Federation mansion for $10.2 million.
