Which living person do you most admire?

I just think[NBA’s Golden State star] Steph Curry has got it all. His dedication and his talent and the way he’s just so quick on his feet, and he’s just a good person. You can tell he’s a good guy. I’m obsessed with the NBA so my sort of non-political person,I would probably just say him.

I could also say Jesse Armstrong[the creator ofSuccession] – I’ve learned so much from Jesse. I’ve become a writer, and I’ve wanted to make my own show and movies. I’ve been inspired by Jesse and his insane skill and how he can weave so many tones intoSuccession.

I am super excited to be working on a new project of my own and would like to venture into possibly producing and directing sometime in the future.

What is your guilty streaming pleasure?

I loveBachelor in Paradise. I’m going to be honest. It’s just so good. There’s just so much more drama and fighting than in the regularBachelor. I don’t watch the original one. I only watch beach-based reality shows.

Which phrase do you overuse?

That’s fire. Everything is fire. You can say it to anything.

What did you want to be when you grow up?

I wanted to be an actor. I started when I was six doing plays and then my brother put me on camera forGood Morning America for a segment one time. I did my first movie at 11. I’ve had the dream since I was a kid.

What was your first job?

It was probably doing an on camera segment forGood Morning America. At Saks Fifth Avenue in New York, they do these Christmas windows – they do them every year, and they’re pretty extravagant.

My brother who was producer at the time, let me be the interviewer and cut the ribbon there and do a whole big segment for the show. So,that was the first gig – not a paid gig,but I was on TV nonetheless.
