Australian teammate Stubblety-Cook believed the ordeal rejuvenated Titmus’ mindset,and had her firming to make an even more palpable impression in Paris.
“She’s quite a resilient character. Everyone goes through challenges and what she went through has been a breath of fresh air for her if I’m honest,after speaking to her,” he said.
“You can tell she’s thought a bit more broadly and that’s definitely motivated her a lot more.
“I can see she’s really hungry to get back to Paris and get back on top.”
