In an email sent to Australian Nurses Federation members on Friday afternoon,WA secretary Janet Reah told members the deal includes “something for every level and increment.”
The new deal includes a 3 per cent pay rise and nurse-to-patient ratios.
In an unorthodox move designed to end the bitter stalemate that has resulted in huge rallies and bitter feuds playing out in the Industrial Relations Commission Reah will instruct members to vote between the new deal and the existing government offer made last November.
ANF members have already rejected that deal, but it was granted to nurses before Christmas last year.
New nurses deal
Level 1.1 - 1.7 nurses would receive a $700 PDA per year.
Level 1.8,all level 2 nurses as well as Senior Registered Nurses on levels 1 to 5 would receive an $1100 PDA each year.
Senior Registered Nurses on levels 6 to 10 would receive the maximum PDA of $1400 per year.
It included the greater of a 3 per cent pay increase or $3120 per year plus a $1200 allowance payment for nurses at levels 1.8 and 2.4.
The union had been fighting for a 5 per cent pay increase.
