Police are investigating whether Lamarre-Condon took a van to his sister’s home in Newcastle the evening before he turned himself in to Bondi police.
There is no suggestion his sister is involved in any wrongdoing.
Before he joined the police force,Lamarre-Condon was a celebrity blogger who interviewed Hollywood A-listers including at the Golden Globes.
He was photographed with celebrities including Selena Gomez,Katy Perry and Miley Cyrus.

He has also posted photos with Lorde,Harry Styles,a Swarovski dinner with Miranda Kerr,Rita Ora,Khloe Kardashian,Lady Gaga,“backstage” with Justin Bieber,and Iggy Azalea at Luna Park.
On one Instagram account,Lamarre-Condon said he was with Taylor Swift and posted an image with the celebrity in 2014.
“With Miss Taylor Swift!” he wrote,with an emoji blowing a kiss.
A decade ago,a teenage Lamarre-Condon was featured in theHerald after he threw a note at Lady Gaga. The note told the singer that she gave him the courage to come out,and she read it aloud to 15,000 concertgoers.

“But through your music,you have helped and will continue to set free many people … Gaga,you’re not just my idol but LITERALLY my saviour,” he wrote in the 2014 note.
During one interview about his blog,Lamarre said he had been trying to meet celebrities since he was 16.

“I remember the first time I ever got asked to do an interview and I had no idea who it was going to be,I just got told to come and cover an event for Qantas,” Lamarre-Condon said.
“And it was John Travolta and Miranda Kerr. And I ended up doing a one-on-one interview,an exclusive one with them. And it just went from there. It was Matt Damon,Steve Carell… ”
Lamarre-Condon has registered a number of businesses over the years with the corporate regulator under names including Beau Lamarre and Beaumont Lamarre-Condon,ASIC documents show. One was his now-defunct celebrity website,The Australian Reporter.
The police officer was at the centre of an internal investigation in mid-2020 when he was filmed Tasering a man in Paddington who was allegedly in breach of bail on serious charges. He had joined NSW Police just one year earlier.
The constable and another officer were filmed wrestling with the wanted man. The footage sparked an internal review,then-NSW premier Gladys Berejiklian told the media in June 2020.
Lamarre-Condon was cleared of wrongdoing by the internal watchdog.
