It’s a full circle career move for the senior public official who,after graduating from Monash University’s law school and working in a private legal practice,joined the public sector as a Victorian ombudsman policy officer back in 2001. She has long told colleagues that becoming ombudsman would be her dream job. Her father Ches Baragwanath was Victoria’s auditor-general in the 1990s.
