Robinson said it was a balancing act between pushing players to the maximum,without pushing them over the edge.

“You have to push players to be at their best,and you’ve got to care for them at the same time,” he said. “You don’t always get it right,but if you care for your program and the players that you have in that program then,for the most part,you’ll get it right.”

Touma,a former rugby league player who represented Lebanon at the 2000 Rugby League World Cup,volunteered with the Newtown Jets before earning a role with the Roosters.

During his time with the Tricolours he was also a trainer for NSW in State of Origin. He started his role at the Bulldogs in 2023 after a stint at the Rabbitohs.
