Wall of house next to building site collapses in Bondi

An exterior wall of a house next to a building site has collapsed in Bondi and road closures are in place as investigations continue.

Emergency services were called to the site at the corner of Wellington and Curlewis streets about 5pm on Thursday.

Footage from the scene shows an outside wall,including frames and windows,that was connected to two bedrooms collapsed into rubble.

A spokesman for Fire and Rescue NSW said a wall had collapsed and that the property was next to a building site but the cause of the collapse was not known.

He said crew had to remove a back fence to get some people out.

The occupants were assessed by paramedics at the scene but were not injured,a spokesman for NSW Ambulance said.

Waverley Council will investigate the situation further,police say.

Road closures were in place on Thursday afternoon.
