American fashion designer and philanthropist Tory Burch turned to the 1980s for her latest collection. Inspired by the bold pieces Burch wore when she first moved to New York from Pennsylvania,the jewellery is large,gold and embellished with hand-poured resin “stones”,creating an effect that’s both bohemian and cocktail.

It’s part of a range featuring variations of this cream and black diamond pattern;all are custom-made for new Australian homewares website Love After Love,curated by mother and daughter Catherine and Jessica Combe.

Working like a laser cutter,the Cricut Maker crafting machine slices through fabric,leather and cardboard with interchangeable blades and easy-to-use software. This tealight lantern was made by theGood Weekend art department using cardboard offcuts and balsa wood. There’s also a strong online community of Cricut “makers” sharing their creations.
