Ms Arndt,70,was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia in the 2020 Australia Day honours"for significant service to the community as a social commentator, and to gender equity through advocacy for men".
She is now facing calls to to be stripped of the honour after she congratulated police last week"for keeping an open mind"on whether Rowan Baxter, who burnt to death his wife and children in Brisbane last week,"might have been'driven too far'."
Following the statement,a senate motion backed by the three major parties labelled Ms Arndt's position"abhorrent"and said she had the potential to bring the Order of Australia into disrepute.
Ms Arndt said in her email that it was"totally inappropriate"for politicians to interfere in the awarding of honours, and urged her supporters to write to politicians and the Governor-General demanding they not be swayed by"lobbying by the feral mobs trying to take me out".
"It is a very sorry day for this country that this key branch of our government is engaging in virtue signalling at the expense of supporting free speech and proper discussion of key social issues,"she wrote.

Ms Arndt claimed the push to revoke her award may strengthen the Council's resolve to back their decision to grant the award.
