The noodles in the char kway teoh were perhaps a little soft,but the smoky,not-too-sweet sauce and plump prawns compensate,while salt-and-pepper eggplant is crisp and well spiced. Generous serves mean a pandan pancake and ice-cream flavoured with infamous durian will feed two daring diners.
