Prices are cheap and cheerful,too,with the case in point being the Phnom Penh noodles:a bargain at $7 a serve. It’s the best seller here and comes with rice noodles,various cuts of pork,offal and umami-rich broth. Order it ‘wet’ or ‘dry’,with the broth on the side. Nom banh chock,a Cambodian classic not often seen in Sydney,has rice noodles and sliced banana flower in a clean fish broth,while fried eel with lemongrass is fragrant with spices.
